Soccer Recap: North Kansas City Comes Up Short

North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Liberty Blue Jays, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Liberty this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

North Kansas City will square off against Oak Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty has already played their next contest (against New Covenant Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
