Jefferson County lost to Brooks County on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Jefferson County Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Brooks County Trojans 5-4.

Jefferson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ja'Lon Crumity, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Crumity also put up a hit, which washis first of the season.

The victory got Jefferson County back to even at 2-2. As for Brooks County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson County is facing Gadsden County at the right time seeing as Gadsden County is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Brooks County, they will square off against Turner County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
