The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the West Valley Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. San Jacinto Valley Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
San Jacinto Valley Academy barely beat Nuview Bridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves blew past the Knights 12-4 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Martin Morando was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Carter Kelly was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Chayce Paine, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
San Jacinto Valley Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nuview Bridge only managed eight hits.
Meanwhile, West Valley fell victim to Elsinore and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
San Jacinto Valley Academy pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for West Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.
Everything went San Jacinto Valley Academy's way against West Valley when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as San Jacinto Valley Academy made off with an 8-2 win.
