Volleyball Recap: Velva Wins Going Away Against Tioga

Velva won the last time they faced Tioga and things went their way on Thursday too. The Aggies put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

One reason for the win was Velva's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Keely Cadwell, who had 19 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Velva's victory bumped their record up to 17-12-2. As for Tioga, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

As of now, neither Velva nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
