Volleyball Recap: Sylacauga Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Sylacauga and Briarwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sylacauga had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Aggies in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Sylacauga's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Briarwood Christian, their win bumped their record up to 30-6.

Sylacauga wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Shelby County on the 14th. As for Briarwood Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Central of Clay County on the 14th.
