Basketball Recap: Belleville Mennonite Comes Up Short

Belleville Mennonite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 59-35 to the Juniata Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunder of the 69-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Belleville Mennonite's record is now 1-7. As for Juniata, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belleville Mennonite will welcome Meadowbrook Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Juniata, they will host Millersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
