Softball Recap: Brooklyn Wins Going Away Against Bedford

The Brooklyn Hurricanes made easy work of the Bedford Bearcats on Monday and carried off a 19-12 victory.

The win got Brooklyn back to even at 1-1. As for Bedford, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Brooklyn will host Lutheran West at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hurricanes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Longhorns have averaged an impressive 15.1 runs per game this season. As for Bedford, they will venture away from home to square off against Streetsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
