Turpin strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Walnut Hills Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Turpin's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Walnut Hills, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Turpin will take on Batavia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 3.8, the Bulldogs 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Walnut Hills, they will face off against West Clermont at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
