West Florida hasn't had much luck against Foley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the West Florida Jaguars face off against the Foley Lions at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, West Florida lost to McGill-Toolen on the road by a 59-40 margin. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 97th in Florida, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 34th in Alabama).

Despite their loss, West Florida saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kamora Harris, who posted ten points, was perhaps the best of all. Amani Bartholomew was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.
