Baseball Recap: Whitnall Comes Up Short

Whitnall blew Shorewood out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Shorewood got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 5-3. It was the first time this season that the Falcons let down their fans at home.

Whitnall's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-2-2. As for Shorewood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Whitnall will face off against Brown Deer at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Shorewood will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' match: after the Falcons face off against the Falcons, they'll take on Shorewood again at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
