Volleyball Recap: Joliet West Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Joliet West faced off against Lyons on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Michael Meloy paced Joliet West's offense, picking up seven kills. Meloy got some help from Nolan Fellows and his 18 assists.

Joliet West's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Lyons, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-8.

Looking ahead, Joliet West will host Bolingbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lyons, they are taking a road trip to take on Lockport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
