Softball Recap: Chaska Takes a Loss

Chaska blew Waconia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Waconia got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 8-6. The Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Ashlyn Larson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Laney Farm, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.

Chaska's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waconia, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Chaska will face off against North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Waconia, they will square off against St. Louis Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
