Basketball Recap: Garrard County Comes Up Short

Garrard County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Lincoln County Patriots at home by a 50-36 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-39 back in January.

Garrard County's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Lincoln County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9-1.

Looking ahead, Garrard County and McCreary Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Lincoln County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pulaski County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
