Football Recap: Rapid City Christian Skates Past Custer with Ease

Rapid City Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Custer Wildcats 41-10. With the Comets ahead 28-3 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Custer still got an impressive performance from Danny Immormino, who rushed for 103 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Immormino's longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The victory got Rapid City Christian back to even at 4-4. As for Custer, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Rapid City Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-20 win against Belle Fourche on the 23rd. As for Custer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 50-0 victory against Lakota Tech on the 23rd.
