Hickory was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King's Fork only posted a batting average of .067.

Hickory's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Great Bridge, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 8-5.
