Basketball Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

If St. James was feeling good fresh off their 73-48 takedown of Socastee last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. James Sharks were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 36-35 to the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Seahawks earlier this season, when they won 49-48.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Myrtle Beach, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Myrtle Beach, they will challenge Goose Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
