Softball Recap: Las Lomas Gets the Win

Las Lomas posted their closest victory since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Miramonte Matadors 10-8. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Matadors, too.

The team relied heavily on Kylie Liberman, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Lexie Kou was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Las Lomas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matches.

The win got Las Lomas back to even at 8-8. As for Miramonte, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Las Lomas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Campolindo on the 1st. As for Miramonte, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Mt. Diablo on the 1st.
