Basketball Recap: Sylvania's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Sylvania lost against North Sand Mountain back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sylvania Rams fell 67-60 to the North Sand Mountain Bison. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Bison are ranked 52nd).

Sylvania's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12. As for North Sand Mountain, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.

Sylvania will challenge Cherokee County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Sand Mountain, they will take on Spring Garden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
