Leland can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past the Evergreen Valley Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

While Leland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-23.

Leland's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Evergreen Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
