Volleyball Game Preview: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Mountain Ridge Sentinels

For the second straight game, Copper Hills will face off against Mountain Ridge. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Copper Hills came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Mountain Ridge, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Sentinels: they've now lost nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-12.

Copper Hills better focus on containing McKynlee Miller and Madi Ryan as the pair were huge in Mountain Ridge's win. Miller had 17 assists and six digs, while Ryan had 13 digs and four assists. Miller is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Mountain Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season. As for Copper Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.
