Football Recap: University Drops Season-High Score on Atlantic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask University). They strolled past the Atlantic Sharks with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 14-0. The win was all the more spectacular given the Titans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Sharks are ranked 98th).

The victory made it two in a row for University and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Atlantic, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-2.

Coming up, University will take on Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Flagler Palm Coast: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while University has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Atlantic, they will challenge Pine Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
