Volleyball Recap: Appleton North Lightning vs. Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers

Appleton North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Josephine Brozek paced Appleton North's offense, picking up four kills. Brozek were helped by Kerstyn Ott and Ava Koleske, who contributed six assists each. Ellis Brinkman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kettle Moraine Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samantha Peterson led the charge by getting 14 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Peterson has posted over her last four contests.

Appleton North's loss dropped their record down to 3-30. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, their record now sits at 19-15.
