Basketball Recap: Prince George's Christian Academy Blue Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Wisdom Carter and Kevin Jackson

Prince George's Christian Academy Blue has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fairfax Christian Cardinals. The Flyers lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 86-54 score last time.

Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Sam Caldwell was another key player, putting up ten points.

Messiah Dixon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fairfax Christian, going 7 for 11 to rack up 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Dixon has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Frank Siaca Bey, who went 5 of 7 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Prince George's Christian Academy Blue's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Fairfax Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.
