Volleyball Recap: Salem Christian School Comes Up Short

Salem Christian School came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the University Christian Barracudas, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Defenders in their meetings with the Barracudas: they've now lost six in a row.

Salem Christian School was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Salem Christian School now has a losing record of 6-7. As for University Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: University Christian beat Salem Christian School by a score of 3-0 on Friday.
