Baseball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain Triumphs

Bradshaw Mountain lost to Paradise Valley back in March of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bradshaw Mountain Bears came out on top against the Paradise Valley Trojans by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Isaiah Avila was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off nine hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Avila wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nitesh Patel, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs Patel has posted since back in March of 2024.

Bradshaw Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Paradise Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Mountain will host Greenway at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Paradise Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sahuarita at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
