Soccer Game Preview: Littlerock vs. Knight

The Littlerock Lobos will face off against the Knight Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Littlerock will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Littlerock's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Palmdale 1-0. The Lobos wouldn't have won without Adrian Villafranco, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Knight, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They beat Lancaster by a goal, winning 1-0. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 413th, while the Eagles are ranked 969th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Littlerock's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven contests. As for Knight, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-5.

Littlerock was able to grind out a solid victory over Knight when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 2-0. Will Littlerock repeat their success, or does Knight have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
