Silver Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Washington with a sharp 21-2 win on Saturday. Considering the Dragons have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brownstown Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over South Ripley on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Braves considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Evan Schneider tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dalton Reedy, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grant Killey, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Silver Creek pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Brownstown Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Everything went Silver Creek's way against Brownstown Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Silver Creek made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
