Baseball Recap: Boerne Comes Up Short

Boerne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Braunfels Unicorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Unicorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Tuesday.

Boerne's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for New Braunfels, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6.

Boerne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Braunfels, they will face off against Pieper at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
