Softball Recap: LaVergne Takes a Loss

LaVergne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 21-10 to Central Magnet. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Magnet this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 on March 12th.

LaVergne's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Central Magnet, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

LaVergne will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Central Magnet, they will face off against Pope John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
