Volleyball Recap: Lexee King's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cordova over Fairview

Cordova lost against Fairview back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lexee King, who had 24 assists. King is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Amari Hagler was another key player, getting ten kills and two blocks.

Cordova now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Fairview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Cordova has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Corner on the 6th. Fairview has also already played their next contest (against Oakman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
