Holmes has gone a perfect 10-0 against Perquimans recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Aces will face off against the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. Holmes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.

If Perquimans heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Holmes took over last week. Everything went the Aces' way against Gates County on Wednesday as they made off with a 6-1 win. Tre'shaun Rankins had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Holmes.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Perquimans was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. Neither they nor Camden County could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Perquimans was without their leading scorer, Bartosz Walachowski, in Monday's match. With Walachowski sitting this one out, Trevor Rountree got some extra time on the pitch (100 vs. his season average of 40).

Holmes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those eight matchups. Perquimans' draw makes their record 6-11-2 this season.

Holmes took their win against Perquimans in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
