Softball Recap: Winamac Warriors vs. Delphi Community Oracles

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Logansport, Winamac was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Delphi Community Oracles by a score of 6-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Winamac also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Makayla Werner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. Maggie Keller was another key contributor, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with an RBI.

On Delphi Community's side, Lexi Miller put in work while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off seven hits. Miller has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Miller was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
