Football Recap: Ringling Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Ringling after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was Konawa who ended up claiming the real prize. The Blue Devils fell 36-30 to the Tigers. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ringling's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Konawa, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ringling is set to square off against their familiar foe Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Konawa will take on rival Rush Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
