Volleyball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

Foxcroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Saint James Saints, falling 3-0. If Foxcroft was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Saint James when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Foxcroft saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sophie Arellano had ten digs.

Foxcroft's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Saint James, with the victory, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Coming up, Foxcroft will challenge Tandem Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Saint James, after both having extra time off, they and Grace Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
