Jackson is 8-1 against Pike County since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Devils will host the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Jackson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Jackson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 44-0 win over Rutland. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Danarri Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 206 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, while also catching one score. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Another player making a difference was Canaan Bernhardt, who threw for 139 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jackson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Jackson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Asher Upchurch was the leader with two sacks.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Pike County's offense. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of Callaway. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pike County dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Jackson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pike County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 12-7 victory. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
