Volleyball Recap: North Sanpete Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

North Sanpete and Salt Lake Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but North Sanpete had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat last Monday.

Cole Booher paced North Sanpete's offense, picking up ten kills. Booher got some help from Sean Allred and his 22 assists. Braden Palmer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for North Sanpete and nudges their season record down to 18-14. As for Salt Lake Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

As of now, neither North Sanpete nor Salt Lake Academy have any future games scheduled.
