It was fun while it lasted, but Keystone's undefeated season came to an end after  17 games  on Monday. They took a hard  57-42 fall against the Padua Franciscan Bruins. The  contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Vivian Cassell, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine  rebounds and nine  steals. Cassell has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 19 times she's  played.  Madyson Sokolowski was another key player,  putting up 12  points along with five  assists and three  steals.
Keystone's defeat  ended  a  19-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 17-1. As for Padua Franciscan,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 10-7.
 Keystone and Padua Franciscan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Keystone (ranked 150th) will meet Clearview (ranked 707th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Keystone is looking to tack on another W to their 19-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Similarly,  Padua Franciscan will  face off against  Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday up  235 places (145 vs. 380). Keystone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.4  points per game  this season.
