Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit Tigers vs. Lee's Summit North Broncos
Lee's Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee's Summit North Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
While Lee's Summit had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-18.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maren Moss, who had 13 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Leah Savlin, who had 13 digs and five assists.
