It was a good run, but Riverview Sarasota unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Calvary Christian Warriors.

Calvary Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Olivia Badyna led the charge by getting 14 digs and two assists. Badyna has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Riverview Sarasota's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Calvary Christian, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.
