Basketball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield lost against Liberal back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Greenfield Wildcats fell to the Liberal Bulldogs 68-64. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Liberal, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.

Greenfield will head out to face off against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield is facing Jasper at the right time seeing as Jasper is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Liberal has already played their next matchup, a 50-45 loss against Northeast Vernon County on the 21st.
