Baseball Recap: Fremont's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Fremont's win against Holton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Packers skirted past the Red Devils 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Packers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Fremont saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Crosley, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Those two doubles gave Crosley a new career-high. Another was Jack Vandenberg, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Fremont hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.

Fremont pushed their record up to 13-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs across that stretch. As for Holton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Fremont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Devils: the pair will be back at it again later today.
