Basketball Game Preview: Red Mesa Redskins vs. Rough Rock Sun Devils

Red Mesa is on a three-game streak of home losses, Rough Rock a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Red Mesa Redskins will welcome the Rough Rock Sun Devils at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Monday, Red Mesa lost to Valley at home by a 59-42 margin.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Shyla Pipkin, who posted six points in addition to 15 boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Jones, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-18, which was the final score in Rough Rock's tilt against El Capitan on Friday.

Red Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Rough Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
