Kenton Ridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Beavercreek Beavers 10-2 on Wednesday.

Kenton Ridge got a big performance out of Nic Stumpf, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Cyrus Worley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

We've got a battle between Cougars coming up. As for Beavercreek, they will host Monroe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
