Lakeside had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against The Habersham School Patriots by a score of 2-0.

Allie Jost paced Lakeside's offense, picking up seven kills. Jost were helped by Avery Miller and Dayea Matocha, who contributed six assists each. Miller also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Zoe Evans, each putting up two.

The Habersham School's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Abbey Zellner, who had 11 assists and five digs, and Betsy Kelly, who had six digs.

Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 32-4. As for The Habersham School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-8.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Johnson on the 27th. As for The Habersham School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Augusta Prep on the 27th.
