Mead and University are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Mead comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Mead is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Shadle Park by a score of 4-3 on Friday.

Lucius Spielman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Carson Patton, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, University earned a 7-2 win over Lewis & Clark on Friday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

University's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mead, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
