Silver Creek has gone 9-1 against Niwot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Raptors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Niwot will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Silver Creek extended their winning streak to four on Thursday. Everything went the Raptors' way against Centaurus as they made off with a 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Raptors, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Nolan Gaccetta spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Silver Creek is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Silver Creek let Connor Lopez and Nathen Canfield run wild. Lopez went 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base, while Canfield went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Canfield has posted since back in March. Hector Correa was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Silver Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Niwot made easy work of Thompson Valley on Friday and carried off an 11-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.
Jagger Kilpatrick made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. Kilpatrick was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run and three runs.
In other batting news, Drew Stapp and Charlie Shaw did most of the damage at the plate: Stapp went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double, while Shaw got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Haden Shaw, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Silver Creek's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Niwot, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Silver Creek beat Niwot 4-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Raptors repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
