Basketball Recap: Chattanooga Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chattanooga Central extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were dealt a 67-33 loss at the hands of the Red Bank Lions. The Pounders were down 53-27 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

As for Red Bank, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 64.7 points this season.

Red Bank got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Jones out in front who shot 50% from the field on his way to 11 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Hambrick, who posted 13 points and four steals.

Coincidentally, Chattanooga Central and Red Bank will both be playing Hixson the next time they take the court. The Pounders will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
