Basketball Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Parkview Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family by a score of 52-42. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 45-18 victory Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Parkview Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tessa New out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds New has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhen Staudacher, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 17 boards.

Looking ahead, Parkview Christian Academy will take on Reavis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walther Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 6.
