Basketball Recap: Wink Find Success

Wink posted their closest win since December 7, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the McCamey Badgers, sneaking past 43-41. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Badgers, too.

Wink pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for McCamey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Wink will be playing at home against Fort Hancock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCamey, they will venture away from home to challenge Van Horn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Van Horn will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something McCamey surely won't give up without a fight.
