Softball Recap: Wicomico Drops Season-High Score on Snow Hill

Wicomico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-5 to the Snow Hill Eagles. On the bright side, the five- run performance marked the Indians' highest-scoring game to date.

Katelyn Benning and Aleah Shah did some serious damage despite the final result: Benning went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Shah scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Tamara Charlotin, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Wicomico's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Snow Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Wicomico has already played their next contest, a 13-3 loss against Pocomoke on the 14th. As for Snow Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Chincoteague on the 14th.
